When Reese Met Brian

The longer I lay out, the hotter I became. I decided to take a dip in the ocean to cool down a little. Jill was asleep and Tess was engrossed in a magazine, so I walked to the water by myself. The cool waters invigorated me, and as I made my way back to my chair, I heard rather than saw a football whiz past my head, and then the incredibly hot, perfectly sexy man that I had been obsessing over since we arrived at our house followed it. Was this my chance to actually talk to him?
He picked up his football and walked toward me. The first thing I noticed was his amazingly athletic figure, with his strong shoulders, tight six-pack abs that looked like they were carved out of stone, and the sexy cut of his hipbone. My eyes traveled up his body, his perfect, hot body. He was even sexier up close than from my bedroom window. "Hey, sorry about that!” he said in a sexy, rich, deep voice, as he extended his hand toward me. I couldn’t help but notice his toned, sexy arms and his strong, tanned hands with long fingers. “I’m Brian Fox.”
"Reese Brady," I said, taking his hand in mine, my voice about an octave higher than usual. I felt a bolt of electricity sear through me as our hands touched, his firm grip enclosing my hand.
"My friends call me Fox," he said as his deep blue eyes stared into mine, not letting go of my hand, the electricity still tingling where his hand clasped mine. His eyes were intense, and it felt like they were burning through mine. He was, simply put, the hottest guy I had ever laid eyes on. I felt myself blushing, and I didn’t even know why. Suddenly I was a bundle of nerves, afraid that I was going to say something stupid. Which, of course, I did.
"Well I can certainly see why," I blurted out flirtatiously. I normally wasn't that bold, but I couldn't help it. He was just so striking, so foxy, with his dark hair, his glistening skin, and his smoldering blue eyes.
His eyes lit up at my comment and he grinned. Dear Lord, his whole face brightened with that smile. "What do your friends call you? Gorgeous?" he playfully asked back.
I felt my blush deepening to tomato red. I had insecurities just like almost every girl, but people told me that I was no plain Jane, with my long blonde hair, blue eyes, and athletic build that came from the hard work of running nearly every day. But “gorgeous”? Coming from this guy, I would definitely take the compliment. However, he was so hot that I was rendered idiotically speechless for a second, and it would’ve been better if it stayed that way. Instead, I started rambling like a moron.
"Nope, just Reese. Sometimes Reese's Pieces, or Pieces, but usually just Reese."
He chuckled and I noticed a sparkle in his eye, a sparkle that I knew I wanted to see more of. "So how long are you here?" he asked.
"Until the beginning of August,” I tried to recover from sounding ridiculous, despite the fact that I felt like I was out of breath just from looking at him.
"Us, too. Where are you staying?"
He reluctantly let go of my hand as I pointed to the back of the house that was mine for the summer.
His eyes glinted wickedly. "Well, looks like we are going to have the chance to get to know each other better, then. I'm in that one," he pointed to the one directly to the left of the house I was staying at, winked at me, and walked away.
